Hogar De Refugio Infantil Villa Juarez
is an orphanage and school for needy children funded and operated by caring Christians. Located 8 miles from Villa Juarez in Sonora State, Mexico, the orphanage provides care to some 30 children who have been abandoned by their parent(s) due to economic adversity. The children range from babies to 16 years old, and include children with special needs.
Volunteers from outside of Mexico are needed for various positions at the orphanage, filling roles such as houseparents, maintenance, grounds, and teachers. In addition, financial donations are always needed to help cover the costs of food, supplies, and schooling for the children.
